Newzander Shipping and Delivery Policy — shipping zones, timelines, vendor responsibilities, buyer obligations, and international commerce terms for marketplace orders.
Newzander is a marketplace platform and is not the shipper of any physical goods sold on the Platform. Shipping is the sole responsibility of the Seller. Sellers independently select couriers, set shipping rates, and manage fulfillment. Newzander does not operate warehouses or fulfillment centers.
Newzander automatically calculates applicable shipping rates based on the buyer's delivery country relative to the vendor's ship-from country: Local (same country), Regional (same continent), or International (different continent). Rates are set by vendors for each zone.
Vendors must accurately represent their processing and shipping timelines in product listings. Standard timeline expectations:
| Zone | Typical Transit Time | Processing Time |
|---|---|---|
| Local (Same Country) | 1–5 business days | 1–3 business days |
| Regional (Same Continent) | 5–14 business days | 1–3 business days |
| International | 10–30 business days | 2–5 business days |
These are indicative ranges only. Actual timelines depend on the specific vendor, courier, destination country, and any delays caused by customs, weather, or force majeure events.
All orders above a minimum threshold must be shipped with trackable courier service. Sellers must upload tracking numbers to the Platform within 24 hours of dispatch. Failure to provide tracking may result in automatic dispute resolution in the buyer's favor.
International buyers are responsible for all import duties, taxes, and customs fees applicable to their shipment. These costs are not included in Newzander's shipping rates. Sellers are responsible for accurate customs declarations and must not falsify package values or descriptions.
Newzander is not responsible for packages seized, delayed, or destroyed by customs authorities. Such events may be grounds for a dispute investigation, but outcomes depend on the circumstances and applicable regulations.
Sellers are liable for items lost or damaged in transit when the loss or damage is attributable to inadequate packaging. For items lost in transit by the courier, the dispute process will determine liability based on available evidence including tracking records and courier claims.
Newzander strongly recommends that sellers use reputable tracked courier services and purchase appropriate shipping insurance for high-value items.
Buyers and sellers acknowledge that shipping timelines are estimates and that Newzander has no direct control over courier operations or customs processing.
